Announcement
Welcome to The Gold Gator, a woman-owned and operated company located in the US. We are proud to offer lovingly restored vintage telephones in rotary and touch tone styles. Please message me if you are looking for a phone you don't see listed in the shop as I'm always adding new finds. If you don't have a land line, I'm happy to recommend devices that allow bluetooth compatibility with most phones.

Frequently asked questions
Are your phone vintage or reproductions?
All of the phones we sell are vintage - NO reproductions.
Your phones look like they are new - are they painted?
All of the phones in the shop are professionally cleaned and polished to bring them back to their original beauty (or as close as possible!), they are not painted.
Do these phones work or are they just decorative?
All of the phones in the shop work. They have been tested to be sure they get a dial tone, make outgoing calls, receive incoming calls and ring properly.
I'd love a rotary phone! What do I need to get started?
You will need:
1) A land line with service;
2) The appropriate jack for the type of phone you want. Wall mounted phones require a different jack than table top models;
3) A service provider that supports rotary (or pulse) dialing. If your service provider does NOT support rotary dialing, the phone will not be able to make outgoing calls due to the rotary signal not being recognized. A pulse to tone converter will fix this issue. Converters can be purchased from my shop, home improvement and electronics stores, and online.
What if I have other questions?
Please send a message, I generally reply the same day, and am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding any of the phones in the shop.
